EU TAG 5 was hosted at ACQUEAU’s headquarters in Brussels, and has seen the attendance of 13 water utilities representatives from across EU and a great engagement from some recent members.

Five different innovative technologies for water and wastewater treatment and monitoring were selected by the members to present. Interest was shown by different utilities to engage further with the developers of technologies for efficient ammonia and nitrate treatment, in-pipe hydropower technology, biomimetic membranes technology and power-free sampler and analyser solution.
Further opportunities for collaborative technology trials and demonstrations were discussed and agreed upon.
