The OFWAT Water Discovery Challenge opens today in the UK
Cities and urban areas face a growing range of challenges from the effects from climate change to growing populations and from decreased biodiversity to inadequate infrastructure. Resilience is what helps to adapt and transform in the face of these challenges. It is now time for action: on policy making, planning and implementation! The Urban Resilience Technology Approval Group (TAG) is a peer-to-peer platform for cities, municipalities and utilities across Europe that helps you to find reliable innovative solutions, knowledge and to learn from best-practices.
The competition and pavilion showcased the “best of the best” in the world of water technology. Three competitions over three separate days, covering Municipal, Real Estate and Public Use, and Industrial innovations respectively. With three categories we were able to showcase very diverse trends and technologies.
Our Australian colleague Karen Clode (who many of you know hails from our UK team) embarked on an adventure at the end of last month when she presented at the inaugural Central Queensland Trade Waste Interest Group.
