Wil is a Chemical Engineer who joined Isle in 2024. He is a graduate of The University of Edinburgh, having completed a PhD in Biochemical Engineering in 2024 and a MEng in Chemical Engineering in 2020. His graduate studies focused on process modelling, simulation and optimisation of biopharmaceutical manufacturing systems. His time in academia has led him to gain extensive knowledge in techno- economic analysis of bioprocess design. Through his research he obtained 9 first author publications and gained experience presenting at international conferences.

At Isle, Wil is involved in the exploitation and intellectual property management of EU-funded circular economy initiatives.
