Ronaldo Novaes Ferreira has a BSc degree in Environmental Engineering and a MSc degree in Environmental Sanitation and Water Resources, both obtained from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul in Brazil and he completed two minors during an academic exchange year at Avans University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Additionally, he also has a MSc degree in Energy and Environmental Management from the University of Twente in the Netherlands He has worked on projects that had international cooperation when he was employed for the Meteorology and Water Management institute of the Brazilian State of Ceará, specifically in bringing innovative water technologies to the Brazilian semi-arid region. While working for NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, he has had experience with research focused on water management and water technologies, organization of meetings between partners, project management and subsidy proposal writing.
