Dr Chantal R-Kotze is a Sustainability, Water, and Innovation Strategist with more than 20 years of experience in market development, cross-sector collaboration, and implementation sciences. Her passion lies in translating innovation to impact, developing new business models and investment partnerships that support sustainable and just transitions. She has held executive and senior-level positions across public and private sectors in water, financial services, construction and engineering, and environment. She is the recipient of the African Green Futures Leadership Award 2017, a DANIDA Circular Leadership Fellow 2019, and Assessor of the South African National Science and Innovation Awards 2017-2019, amongst others.

Chantal has led mega-programmes with international funding partners and supported National Policy development. This included providing advisory services on various Presidential projects in South Africa. She continues to collaborate on a number of academic and mainstream publications related to sustainable and inclusive futures.
