Beatriz is a biotechnologist about to finish her PhD in Environmental Engineering, with the focus on harnessing the power of cyanobacteria for bioplastic production. Her research and practical experience in biotechnology and microbiology processes have equipped her with a deep understanding of sustainable solutions for environmental challenges.

Her involvement in EU-funded projects during her doctoral studies has prepared her for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Joining Isle as an Environmental Consultant, Beatriz will be involved in the delivery, exploitation, and engagement activities for EU-funded projects.

Qualifications 

PhD Environmental Engineering (currently, Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain).
BSc Biotechnology (Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain), MSc Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology (Complutense University of Madrid, Spain)
