Paul has more than 30 years’ experience in the global utility industry. He has delivered consulting services to over fifty electricity, gas and water utilities throughout Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, China and Europe in relation to organisational operating model, resource model development and performance improvement, specifically for the functional areas of asset management, customer service, finance, network and plant operations and maintenance, land development and procurement.

Paul has led metric and process benchmarking programs for the International Water Association (IWA) and Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) in the functional areas of Civil Maintenance, Mechanical-Electrical Maintenance, Customer Services and Asset Management. More recently, he has led projects involving industry reform, customer service strategy and intelligent water networks.
