Karyn is the Managing Director of Isle UK, having previously headed up the consultancy team. She has over 20 years’ experience working within utilities and consultancies in the water sector and has a background in innovation, wastewater treatment and sludge management, resource recovery and regulation. She has extensive project management experience with a track record of delivering technically and commercially successful projects.

Previous roles have included at water utilities, at a large consultancy firm wherein she was involved in the Chemicals Investigation Programme, and at Imperial College where she managed the inputs to GLOBAQUA, a project on integrated water management.

Qualifications

MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from Southampton University. She is also a chartered water and environmental manager (CIWEM), a chartered scientist and a chartered environmentalist and is a member of CIWEM’s Wastewater and Biosolids Panel .
