Joe has over 11 years’ experience working in utilities and consultancies within the water sector. He has a strong technical background, having held both operational and asset management roles at Southern Water, where his work included water resource area asset management, multi-disciplinary pollution incident investigation, & DG5 internal flooding reduction initiatives.

Joe holds a Master’s degree in Water Processes and holds technical experience in drinking water quality and treatment, having managed
the DWSP for Southern Water and specialising in water treatment technologies for his Masters’ thesis. He has worked on many engineering and environmental projects and initiatives, including project management of environmental assessments for strategic water resource planning, water framework directive technical reviews, and has also worked for the Environment Agency on water quality topics such as eutrophication and CSO discharges.
