Isle Americas Celebrates Five Years of Water Sector Peer Networking

Peer networking for water sector professionals covers areas from AI to PFAS

Isle Americas’ Partnership Project program celebrates 5 years of connecting US water sector experts through peer networking and collaborative learning. The Partnership Program fosters knowledge exchange, exploring the real-world use of innovations and novel technologies. By spotlighting utilities’ forward-thinking work, the program also positions utilities as climate and innovation leaders – crucial for employee recruitment and retention.

So far, 15 Partnership Projects have been launched, engaging over 90 utilities nationwide. Topics address key industry challenges and provide a closed, safe space for utilities to share experiences and learnings. A sampling of current projects includes:

  •  AI Horizons, which builds foundational knowledge of AI and examines current tools and sector-wide implications for artificial intelligence
  • Data fusion and visualization, which helps utilities navigate implementation, sharing best practices and common barriers to success
  • O PFAS project provides a space to exchange insights and highlight and discuss PFAS treatment and destruction technologies
