Oldcastle Infrastructure Backs the Trial Reservoir Initiatives

Oldcastle Infrastructure have joined the Trial Reservoir team as a new sponsor with a particular interest in our latest adventure, a Trial Reservoir that supports minority-led utilities in the US.

Oldcastle Infrastructure are joining the Trial Reservoir team on their journey to innovation

The Trial Reservoir initiatives are thrilled to announce we have a brand-new sponsor supporting our journey of innovation, welcome Oldcastle Infrastructure!

The Trial Reservoir initiatives consist of five different flagship programmes across several industry sectors including, energy, advanced industrial, climate change, Brazilian utilities and minority-led utilities in the US. All the initiatives work in the same way in that they provide a reservoir of funding to a technology company that will embark on a trial, with an end-user who has pre-committed to purchase and implement the technology within their day-to-day operations if the trial is successful. This is a unique opportunity known for financially de-risking the trial experience, because if the trial is unsuccessful the loan is written off completely. Find out more about the Trial Reservoir initiatives by visiting our website and following our LinkedIn page.

Since 2021 the Trial Reservoir initiatives have supported 8 successful trials, and therefore implemented 8 pioneering technologies across multiple industries. This evolution of innovation would not be possible without the amazing sponsors that support the Trial Reservoir through their collaboration and expertise, and we’re thrilled to introduce out new sponsor Oldcastle Infrastructure.

Oldcastle Infrastructure are a new Trial Reservoir sponsor

Oldcastle Infrastructure future-proof North America’s infrastructure and transform communities by protecting water, enhancing communications, transporting energy, and strengthening structures. Their products and services have been positively impacting millions of lives across North America, every day for nearly half a century. The products they offer are often unseen, just below the surface, however they are the pinnacle solution to providing protection and access to water, communications, energy, and transport infrastructure.

Oldcastle Infrastructure is dedicated to consistent innovation, rethinking, reimagining and reinventing solutions for the built environment. They have a relentless drive and are applying it to the challenges of our time, including inclusion, diversity, and sustainability, aligning with UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDG), making them a perfect fit for our latest Trial Reservoir initiative created for minority-led US utilities.

Oldcastle Infrastructure are interested in the MLUU reservoir initiative

The minority-led US Utilities Trial Reservoir (MLUU) was launched as the latest reservoir initiative in 2023 and seeks to amplify the voices of minority-led utilities in disadvantaged communities across the United States. By introducing a Trial Reservoir programme specifically for MLUU we have the potential to de-risk and accelerate the uptake of novel technologies by minority-led utilities, driven by their long-term needs and goals.

Due to their aligned aims and objectives Oldcastle Infrastructure took a particular interest in the MLUU Trial Reservoir. As a reservoir sponsor Oldcastle Infrastructure will gain exclusive insights into all upcoming, ongoing, and completed trials, with the opportunity to offer support and advice to the trial participants, and they won’t be waiting long to get stuck into this opportunity!
