Last month, the final Innovation Workshop for the INCOVER project took place in Almería, Spain. The agenda included a site visit to El Toyo WWTP (one of the four project demonstration sites) and a Masterclass on financial support opportunities to accelerate commercialisation.

Isle are delighted to share a short study on the journey taken by Inflowmatix after their involvement with Isle through the European TAG programme.

Isle is supporting the efforts of the Inter-American Development Bank to create the right framework for innovation in the water sector in Latin America. As part of this effort, a TAG innovation workshop will be organized during the conference IWA-IDB Innovation Conference on Sustainable Use of Water: Cities, Industry and Agriculture, happening on September 30-October 3 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The workshop will provide selected technology companies with the opportunity to present their products and create the opportunity to interact with Latin America’s leading water utilities.

Urban Resilience TAG took place in Rotterdam on 22nd May 2019, following a successful excursion on 21st May.

The European Junior Water Programme (EJWP) will kick off at the Water Innovation Europe 2019 week, from the 10th to the 14th of June. The EJWP offers young professionals a unique opportunity to learn essential skills, for example teamwork and collaboration skills. The EJWP also offers young water professions a unique opportunity to build valuable networks at an early stage in their careers.

Isle has been shortlisted for the 2019 Water Industry Awards under two categories: Water Industry Consultant of the year and Data project of the year for our Artificial intelligence Horizon Scan for the global water industry project.

Isle’s Managing Director for North America, Cristina Ahmadpour, was featured in the Mazars 2019 U.S. Water Industry Outlook, where she shared her perspective related to the areas of opportunity in the next three years for the water utility sector and how innovation continues to be central to utility operations.
