Richard is a licensed civil engineer in the Philippines and a Technology Consultant at Isle Utilities. He now also serves as Chief Editor for the Executive Exchange and Water Action Platform, and is a member of the Trial Reservoirs Initiative team.

Before joining Isle, he worked as a Supervisor and Water Supply Operations Engineer, overseeing the operation and control of potable-water production at a 900 MLD treatment plant. His responsibilities also included serving as the plant’s Pollution Control Officer, Safety Officer 2, and GHG Management Officer. Recognised for his innovation and commitment to the water and environmental sectors, Richard received the 2022 MWSI Employee of the Year Special Award.
