Filipe holds an MSc degree in Water Technology from Wetsus/Wageningen University in the Netherlands and a BSc in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Carina (UFSC), Brazil. Originally from Brazil, he brings an international perspective to his work in water and wastewater treatment.

Before joining Isle, Filipe worked in the industrial wastewater sector, first at Aqana and then at Econvert. In both roles, he worked on turnkey projects, primarily delivering anaerobic treatment solutions for industrial wastewater across a range of industries, including brewing, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
