Isle helps RedEye, an australia technology, move to the US through introduction to Nevada.

RedEye was first presented through Isle’s Technology Approval Group (TAG) Innovation Forum in early 2016. They have now partnered with WaterStart, a US technologies organisation.

RedEye, Australian based pioneers of an engineering drawing management solution, have partnered with WaterStart, a US technologies organisation, off the back of the Nevada Governor’s Trade Mission to Australia in 2016. As a technology that was identified by Isle Australia to be a game-changer in engineering data management, RedEye was first presented through Isle’s Technology Approval Group (TAG) Innovation Forum in early 2016. Isle, as the organiser of the B2B component of the Trade Mission in 2016, facilitated the introduction between Waterstart and a number of new step-change technologies, one of which was RedEye. The early identification of a relevant technology such as the RedEyeDMS has allowed for timely stakeholder engagement and opened up the opportunity for the full benefits of the technology to be explored in markets outside Australia.

As a result of the RedEye/Waterstart partnership, two projects have commenced, one with the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) and the other with the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD). The aim of the projects is to integrate the RedEyeDMS solution into the organsiations’ engineering and operation systems. In addition, RedEye has opened a North American Headquarters in the State of Nevada and has brought in two members of the Australian team to oversee the SNWA and LVVWD projects and scale the business.Other water and power utilities have already shown interest in the RedEyeDMS and RedEye plans to increase the number of personnel to 8 in the US in order to service the demand.

RedEyeDMS is the first purpose built cloud and mobile solution, making it easy for people who work with engineering data to upload, find, and link relevant documents together so they can work with the right information on any device. Changes in the field can be captured in real time and users can typically find any drawing in under a minute. RedEyeDMS becomes an asset owner’s Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for engineering data, eliminating inefficiencies associated with people working off the wrong drawings and enabling effective, auditable collaboration between internal staff and external contractors.
