These dialogues will build on the commitments made in the Regional Water Action Agenda, to ensure its progress, to review its implementation in order to advance the implementation of SDG 6 in the region.
The sessions are structured according to the priority areas identified in the Regional Agenda for Water Action adopted at the Regional Water Dialogues 2023 held in Santiago de Chile in February of that year. Each of these sessions will involve high-level national authorities, members of the private sector, academia and civil society.
This edition will feature a special session on water and agriculture, as well as a space aimed at socializing and analysing the Summary Report on Regional Position in preparation for the 2024 World Water Forum, which summarizes the main challenges and proposals for action to meet water challenges in the region.
