Connected by Water is proudly hosted by the Australian Water Association (AWA) in Perth, WA. This conference delves into the integral role of water in driving economic prosperity, fostering vibrant communities, preserving the environment, and honouring Indigenous connections to the Country.
Connected by Water serves as a nexus for exploration, providing a platform to investigate the intricate interplay between water and diverse sectors across the economy. Isle experts will take the stage to present two critical topics that underscore the conference’s theme of integration and innovation: “A Roadmap for Circular Economy Integration in Wastewater and Desalination Plants” and “Re-Mining: Connecting the Dots Between Mining, the Water Sector, and the Circular Economy.”
Presentation Schedule:
- Day 1, February 28th, 1:50 pm: Meena Yadavs’ presentation, titled “A Roadmap for Circular Economy Integration in Wastewater and Desalination Plants,” will be delivered in collaboration with Vanessa Moscovis from Water Corporation.
- Day 3, March 1st, 2:15 pm: Marlene Hsu will present “Re-Mining: Connecting the Dots Between Mining, the Water Sector, and the Circular Economy.”
