Maya Shanti graduated with a MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, where she specialised in Integrated Water Management. She completed a dissertation with Anglian Water that encompassed a horizon scan and multi-criteria assessment on commercially available aquatic sensors. As part of her studies, she took part in projects related to water, wastewater, and sludge management of a small UK district as well as a land quality assessment for the Hounslow Council. Prior, Maya Shanti completed a BSc in Environmental Engineering at Cornell University, where she researched and began developing a wastewater treatment technology specialising in nutrient removal.
