Isle Utilities worked with a government agency to address environmental impacts of brine discharge from desalination in Abu Dhabi. Our mission was to thoroughly assess and find economically feasible solutions to extract valuable minerals from desalination brines. We explored multi-mineral recovery approaches to mitigate harm while potentially extracting valuable minerals like lithium and bromine.
Our team provided a comprehensive understanding of the technologies that can extract different minerals from desalinated brine. We also evaluated economically viable solutions to inform decision-making and investment strategies.
