Isle powers the ACE23 Innovation Hub
The OFWAT Water Discovery Challenge opens today in the UK
Cities and urban areas face a growing range of challenges from the effects from climate change to growing populations and from decreased biodiversity to inadequate infrastructure. Resilience is what helps to adapt and transform in the face of these challenges. It is now time for action: on policy making, planning and implementation! The Urban Resilience Technology Approval Group (TAG) is a peer-to-peer platform for cities, municipalities and utilities across Europe that helps you to find reliable innovative solutions, knowledge and to learn from best-practices.
Following a successful partnership at ACE18, the American Water Works Association (AWWA) has selected Isle Utilities, a global innovation consultancy, to power the Innovation Lounge at AWWA’s Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE) in 2019 and 2020, to be held in Denver and Orlando, respectively.
Isle are showcasing innovation once again. This time, we’re organising a conference, WaterIDEAS 2018, and hosting the Emerging Technologies Pavilion at the Italian fair Accadueo-H2O, taking place in Bologna from 17th to 19th October.
From May 31 to June 2, 2018, Imagine H2O, Isle Utilities and PureTerra Ventures hosted the Smart Water Hub at Aquatech China, Asia’s largest water trade show. The innovation pavilion featured 18 water startups from 12 countries vetted for market readiness, commercial viability and impact on China’s water resource sustainability.
The competition and pavilion showcased the “best of the best” in the world of water technology. Three competitions over three separate days, covering Municipal, Real Estate and Public Use, and Industrial innovations respectively. With three categories we were able to showcase very diverse trends and technologies.
Our Australian colleague Karen Clode (who many of you know hails from our UK team) embarked on an adventure at the end of last month when she presented at the inaugural Central Queensland Trade Waste Interest Group.
Isle were pleased to host nine technologies that have been vetted through TAG in our innovation pavilion, at WEFTEC. In partnership with WaterStart, we also hosted the second annual Channels for Innovation Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 6.
