Steve is a licensed Professional Engineer specialized in civil and environmental engineering with a focus on water, wastewater and reuse. Steve has acquired extensive experience in planning, design and project management and has worked on all phases of projects including, technology evaluation, piloting, facility design, regulatory compliance, operator training, construction services and start-up. Steve’s work with innovative technologies spans project conception through start-up.
As Senior Consultant-North America, Steve will apply his extensive experience to the evaluation of innovative technologies as well as bring an understanding of the challenges involved in design, regulatory review, construction and operation of these technologies.
Steve is an active member of the AWWA UV Disinfection System Committee, the AWWA Water Reuse Committee, the US Technical Advisory Group for ISO 282 Technical Committee on Water Reuse and the Rocky Mountain Water Environment Association Innovative Wastewater Technology committee. Steve is also the professional mentor for the University of Pittsburgh Chapter of Engineers without Borders.
Steve graduated from University of New Hampshire, Durham, with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Health (double major).
